Tuberculosis Awareness Program
π Introduction: Tuberculosis is still one of the most serious diseases in India. That’s why we organized a TB Awareness Program to help students and the local community understand this disease better. The event was led by health experts and our dedicated para-medical students (especially DMLT/BMLT), who shared knowledge and helped people understand how to prevent and fight TB. π Key Highlights: Explained what TB is and how it spreads. Shared real symptoms people should not ignore. Free consultation and chest check-up camp Students gave posters, charts, and presentations Special talk by doctors on TB vaccination and medicine Awareness rally in local area with slogans and placards π What Students Learned: How TB bacteria affects lungs. Shared real symptoms people should not ignore. Importance of early diagnosis. Sample collection techniques (sputum, chest X-ray). Government schemes for TB treatment. Why It Matters: TB is a major public health issue. Spreading awareness can save lives. This event made both students and locals aware of symptoms and cure. Boosted student confidence through public interaction. π Best for: DMLT, BMLT, ANM, GNM students. Anyone preparing for medical entrance or health jobs. Conclusion: This TB Awareness Program was a big success β not only for creating public awareness, but also for giving students hands-on experience. Events like this help future lab technicians and medical workers become more responsible citizens. We aim to continue such awareness programs to build a healthier and more informed society.
