Method: – Calculation
Globulin (g/dl) = Total Protein – Albumin
If, Total Protein is = 6.46 g/dl, &
Serum Albumin is = 4.30
Then,
Globulin (g/dl) = 6.46 – 4.30
Globulin (g/dl) = 2.16
AG Ratio Calculation:-
AG Ratio = Albumin / Globulin
AG Ratio = 4.30/2.16
AG Ratio = 1.99
Normal Value:-
AG Ratio = 0.9 – 2.0 g/dl
Globulin = 2.5 – 3.5 g/dl
